covid-19 vaccinations
17/01/2021
NHS England control the
distribution of the COVID-19 vaccine to vaccination sites.
They have created mass
vaccination sites that have thousands of vaccines on site and are
able to give vaccinations quickly.
There are also local hubs
and pharmacies that have been setup that can give vaccinations, but
there may be a delay in getting the vaccine as they have a lower
stock of the vaccines.
If you
receive a letter inviting you to book an appointment for a
vaccine from the NHS:
Please do not delay and book an appointment
using the NHS booking service. The sooner you have the vaccine the
greater your protection against COVID-19.
If you
have received a letter then please go
here to book an appointment or call 119.

Please remember:
-
COVID-19 vaccinations are FREE on the NHS.
- Book
your appointments as soon as possible to ensure that you have
protection
- DO
NOT WAIT FOR THE VACCINE TO BECOME AVAILABLE CLOSER TO YOU. THIS
MAY NOT HAPPEN AND WILL DEPEND ON SITES THAT GET DELIVERIES OF
THE VACCINE FROM NHS ENGLAND.
